An exclusive African Safari experience awaits you at the Simbavati River Lodge, situated in the world famous Timbavati Private Game Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park.

The reserve is home to the famous White Lions and offers exceptional game viewing opportunities.

An intimate and child friendly camp, Simbavati River Lodge places emphasis on relaxation. Chalets are comfortably furnished complete with air conditioning, further enhancing your tranquil African Bush experience. The lodge also offers a lounge, bar, restaurant and breathtaking views of the nearby Nhlaralumi river.

Mid Morning Brunch and Afternoon High-Tea is served outside on a wooden deck and combines African and Western cuisine offering exciting new tastes for the more adventurous as well as more conventional preferences. Served around the campfire in an open-air boma, Dinner is a memorable occasion for all guests who dine at Simbavati River Lodge.

2 Bedroom Family Suite

Simbavati River Lodge has 3 thatched family chalets.

All with 2 bedrooms and en-suite with shower and bath and each chalet has its own private game viewing deck.

Bed configuration differs slightly for each chalet:

Chalet 1 has 2 twin bedded rooms.

Chalet 2 has 1 twin bedded room and 1 triple bedded room.

Chalet 3 has 1 king bedded room and 1 twin bedded room.

Please note: The bathroom leads from one of the bedrooms - not from a central lobby.

Luxury Safari Tent

Simbavati River Lodge has 8 luxury safari tents.

All are twin bedded with en-suite bathroom and each tent has its own private game viewing deck.

Bathroom configuration differs with either an inside shower and outside bath, or an inside bath and outside shower.

Dining - Restaurant

Enjoy an early morning cup of coffee/tea with rusks before embarking on the game drive. After the morning game drive, breakfast is served outside on the wooden deck, while a light lunch is served just before the afternoon game drive. The bar caters for alcoholic beverages and also includes a wide selection of fine South African wine

Dining - Boma

Dinner is a festive event which is alternatively served around the campfire in the open-air boma or in the thatched dining area. Dinner consists of an African and Western cuisine with exciting tastes for the more adventurous as well as various conventional options.
