Overview

Camp Linyanti should be visited by anyone passionate about raw Africa and favours safari quality over luxury accommodation.

This uncrowded north-western corner of Chobe National Park is a water wonderland and appeals to visitors eager to get involved with boating activities, as well as game drives.

There is only accommodation for 10 people in rustic, ensuite tents, including one tent that is romantically kitted out for a honeymoon couple, so this is a camp for visitors who prefer privacy.

Visit Camp Linyanti for an experience in remote Botswana, hosted by passionate, knowledgeable guides who will uncover the secrets of the Linyanti and show guests a never before seen side to this elephant paradise.

The accommodation at Camp Linyanti sings of traditional safari, blending in with the environment and keeping things simple, yet elegant. There are 5 individual canvas tents, elevated slightly from the ground with stairs leading onto private wooden decks, and up to the interior of these unique, circular tents.

Twin or double beds accommodate 2 people per tent; however an extra bed can be brought in when a triple room is required. The canvas 'rondavels' house ensuite bathrooms and the classic outdoor shower, which opens up to the skies. Solar panels work to sustainably provide power to the camp and to assist in the heating of water while considering its impact on the wild.

Each bedroom has bedside tables and lamps, individually controlled air-conditioning, and extra blankets.
