Day 3 | Saturday KNYSNA to PORT ELIZABETH via TSITSIKAMMA FOREST

Depart after breakfast, and travel through Plettenberg Bay and onto Port Elizabeth via the Tsitsikamma Forest. At Storms River Mouth you will be given the opportunity to cross the suspension bridge that spans the river. Tsitsikamma is the ancient San name meaning place of abundant water. It originates from the Tsitsikamma Mountains and flows through ancient forests and Cape fynbos before spilling into the ocean on the eastern side of the park.

We enjoy lunch (own account) in the woodland setting of the Garden Route (Tsitsikamma) National Park. The ancient Tsitsikamma Forest is an extensive protected conservation area that supports a great diverse ecosystem and indigenous flora and birdlife. Continue through the scenic Garden Route before arriving late afternoon at your Port Elizabeth hotel or Port Elizabeth International Airport.
