Addo Elephant National Park was founded in 1931.  The beauty of this park is that its malaria free as well as the fact that it’s the only place in the world that you will get to see the elephant, lion, rhinoceros, buffalo, leopard, whale and great white shark in their natural habitat.

Apart from the amazing wildlife it is also home to an amazing birdlife, and home to the world's largest breeding colony of gannets and also home to the second largest breeding colony of African penguins.  Another great attraction is the unique flightless dung beetle.

Other wildlife to be found here include the eland, kudu, red hartebeest and bushbuck.
