The Timbavati Game Reserve was established in 1956 and is located to the north of the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve on the western edge of Kruger National Park. The reserve has more than 20,000 ha of wildlife territory.
With the close proximity to Kruger and that there are no fences allows for free movement of wildlife and thus giving visitors to the reserve a great experience.
The reserve is more famous the white lions which were discovered in the 1970s. These lions have a recessive gene that causes their coats to be snow white.
Other than that you will also be able to see the other members of the big 5 and a host of herbivores and birdlife while referencing a wonderful South Africa safari.
