1933 - An African legacy to pass on to the next generation

" You have to know your roots in order to find your wings !" This is exactly how our great grandfather, Guy Aubrey Chalkley felt when he first discovered the raw beauty and spirit of the Kingston Reserve, back in 1933. Three generations later we were committed to building our own private camp as a tribute to our great grandfather's pioneering spirit, which we aptly named, 1933.

Our family often stays in the camp and we invite friends, family and guests the world over to come and enjoy our warm, personal and luxurious home nestled on the banks of the Sabie River. 1933 is available for exclusive use and offers secluded luxury with dedicated staff. The lodge comprises four spacious suites, each with their own private view of the Sabie River, and a children's dormitory, able to sleep up to eight children. Every luxury or creature comfort you may desire has been thought of, and we know your family will enjoy creating incredible memories together, in a home that is filled with so many of ours.

We have provided below an easy reference table listing hopefully as many of the facts and figures which you may want to know to best understand the experience we are offering at 1933 Lodge.
