Overview

RAW Botswana - a camp enviably located on the banks of the Selinda Spillway in northern Botswana - offers horseback safaris, walking trails, boating, mekoro, canoeing, fishing and game drive experiences in one of the country’s most exquisite wildlife areas. It is a small, environmentally sustainable camp with 5 tented suites overlooking the spillway.

The camp is largely solar-powered, and promotes low impact living in this unique and fragile ecosystem supporting an untamed extravagance of animal and birdlife.

The team at RAW Botswana shares many decades of experience running adventurous and eco-friendly safaris with superior attention to detail, friendly service, wholesome and delicious cooking, and expert guiding and wildlife knowledge.

Sited on the raised banks of the spillway, the five tented suites are positioned to enjoy the expansive views of this wild utopia. Each tent is elevated on wooden decking, and the canvas structures are airy, naturally and subtly decorated with classic wooden furnishings and comfortable furniture.

Each of the tents is spaced well apart and has a self-contained shower, loo, and large decked verandah. Beds can be configured for double or twin accommodation, while a family tent specifically accommodates for parents and children.

The neutral canvas tents, and deep wood flooring and decking keep the tones of the camp and rooms in a perfect balance with nature. The Honeymoon tent has an additional outdoor shower, adding an element of African romance.
